Hello All

I am thinking of things to do when I get body work done, any ideas that come to mind gents?
I will block up air vents and use the heater to feed the two internal air vents.

Has anyone re-routed wiring internally before?
If so I would block the two heater holes up and use the wiring loom hole.

Looking forward to your replies.

Yeah last year I did that. Couldn't believe the loom splits, part on the inside and part on the engine compartment side and then rejoins….like wtf. Check my thread on this page Cossy sold and Jag bought...….. I rewired and fitted a new relay and fuse box - the original heated and melted. Don't you just love 30 year old TVR wiring.

Thanks,
Did you use one or two entry points for wiring into engine bay?

just the nearside one. I split some 32mm black plastic waste pipe in half and ran the wiring in that, including the wiring to the bonnet (used a 13 way trailer socket to join to the bonnet). Looks very tidy.

The loom is obviously made of old type cable

Take a look at thin-wall cable, thinner, lighter and will carry more current

A thin-wall cable loom is nothing like as bulky as a standard loom

Thin-wall cable reaches parts of a body that other cables cannot reach
