After about a year and a half of deliberating I have finally joined the S club. I bought myself a Monza red S3C yesterday lunchtime and drove it until my arms and face were as red as the car itself! It's bloody fantastic and I'm now wondering why I took so long thinking about it. No piccies at the moment as its a bit grubby after 6 hours of use yesterday but I'll get it tidied up and polished and post some pictures next week.

This forum and numerous linked websites have been a great resource in researching and buying the car so thanks to everyone. Look out for me around the roads of Hertfordshire and don't forget to :wavey:

I live in St Albans and I work in Hatfield so I'll be tearing up the A414 between the two when weather permits (although I did take the risk this morning despite it being really grey). Can't make the 1st I'm afraid as I'm on holiday but will make a trip to S club heaven.

Was it you I spotted and waved to in St Albans town centre at about 5pm on Friday afternoon ? Red S coming the opposite direction as I came to the top of the High Street.

I am in Letchworth, and use the A414 for the daily commute. I will keep my eyes peeled for you.

Wasn't me but was more than likely my car. I bought it from a chap who lives in St Albans. I didn't pick the car up until Saturday lunchtime so I guess he was out for a final spin.
