How about 'tuner nuts' ? not exactly locking nuts but how many wheel robbing scumbags would have the correct twelve point key?

clicky for Ebay link

I've had my S over ten years, followed PistonHeads and now the far more Popular Facebook Group and can't recall anyone having wheels pinched, of course it could be because they all have locking wheel nuts, except me! rolleyes

Could be a shout. Know anyone who has swapped to these? Locking nuts currently fitted are god knows how old and a real challenge to get unlocked, even with a good dose of WD40.

I lost my wheel Nut key in my garage years ago. After an hour looking for it, I decided to give up and adopt a more direct method. The first nut took me 5 minutes, the other 4 took another 5 mins after I had worked out how. After that, I decided not to bother, looking wheel nuts are more of an inconvenience to the owner than they are to your average wheel-nicker.

I like to think the average thieving scumbag wants wheels with a big market, Beemer, Audi, Corsa whatever? Not some obscure old sports car with skinny wheels and high profile tyres smile

If your car is garaged how often is it left unattended in a 'high risk' location scratchchin
