Hello all.

Just looking to clean and repaint the suspension and I noticed the poly bushes on the drop links are worn away on the outer flanges. They've only covered 5k miles or so in the last three years. I'm pretty sure I put them on the right way, photo shows n/s on left of the shot.

Is this normal wear? Can I swap the inner half of the bush to the outer and vice versa or is it new set?

Thanks in advance.

Steve

Swap 'em around, tighten them up and get a bit more life out of them smile

That's what I thought - pretty poor though for such a small amount of mileage.

Can't find anywhere selling just the bushes either......

Ho hum, that expense is for another day.

The quality of poly bushes varies enormously. Why not try and source some OE type rubber ones which will last for years.

I've tried to find OE rubber ones but no luck as yet.
