I have powerflex cotton reel style bushes on my front wishbones which i was looking at tidying up. Can these be removed at all without knackering them up?

I assume these are split bushes with halves pushed in from each side. With the wishbones off, I'd have thought you could remove the sleeve and push each half out through the hole in the other half IYSWIM.

If they're knackered they may come out in bits, but in that case they needed replacing anyway.

I thought that but don't think they are. They look to be one piece and believe them to be these

Getting those in must have been a right pain. Do you definitely need to remove them? If they'll move at all they should push out, but you'll need to be careful the thing you push with allows that outer shoulder to fold in. And of course you'll need to refit them, which could be a right pita.

Think im not gonna bother. Was thinking of getting the wishbones powdercoated with a few brackets etc whilst refreshing the front end but don't want to destroy the bushes. Will revert to the angle grinder and spray finish then.

Do the powdercoat!
Might be hard to get the poly out, but I bet a buck that someone will sell you a new wink
