Fitting a Dash cam - 280S

Well, I've gone through my fuse box and located both constant live and switched fuses. When I hook my dash cam up to a constant live it fires up, ignition off, but when I use one of the switched fuses I get nothing, with or without the ignition on. The circuit that I'm piggy backing does work with ignition on.

I'm no sparks, so I may be making a schoolboy error but I've used the same process to fit camera in my other four cars - am I being dim? :-) Has anyone successfully hard wired a camera in their S without resorting to constant live as a feed?

Pretty sure I’ve piggy backed off of this fuse (instruments/cigar lighter?).

Cheers. I've gone through the lot now and none of the switched fuses run the dash cam but all of the constant live do, Very odd!

It's a TVR, so in fact quite normal
