Does anyone know this V8S
Discussion
Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder, but..... I’m with the others.
The wheels are sacrilege and not in keeping at all in my opinion. They also look a bit wide for the track. I also thought the doors looked a bit short for a later body V8/S3/4.
Not keen on the bumper modifications but it’s all personal choice. For me I’d rather know the rest of it is taken care of before bumper mods. I.e that the chassis isnt tea leaves and the shocks brakes and engine are all sound, servo etc. A bit of fibreglass in the bumpers or padding, isn’t confidence that it’s sorted and well cared for
I suppose I’m more of a purest - it’s all personal choice.
If you are looking at it from an investment point of view, I’d suggest it’s a non starter

And there's a previous thread on PH https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
check the underneath pics:
the chassis was painted black / wayoyled including wishbones in situ.
some bolts & nuts are half painted..and when the outtriggers have been painted the brush "slipped" and some areas of the sills where also covered in black... the person painting it was even so lazy not wiping off the black paint from the sills...what a big botch!!!
