Headlamp Bezel

Does anyone know where to get the headlight bezel. I bought a generic 7" headlight bezel but the profile different, the O/D was a few mm bigger, a slightly different lip inside and it didn't fit. The new one was more rounded then the original. Looking through classic car spare website they all appear to be the more rounded profile.

Mine are classic mini (with the little "pimple at the top). Cheap enough from people like minispares, though you have to make the little L shaped bracket at 6 oclock.
I believe the more curved ones are from the MGB.

From my findings, and I believe the crucial thing for you to be aware of, is that....
There are x2 sizes of rim. Those being 203mm and 212mm diameter. Plus the rolled edge can be different too. The outer profile of the rim didn't matter, not on my car anyway.
My headlamp buckets are WIPAC brand, they are moulded plastic, they have x2 lugs within the plastic top edge for the rim edge to drop into.
My old rims were 203mm. The new ones are within a mm or so being bigger, they have the different outer profile, they have a slightly different rolled edge, but they still engage with the bucket plastic lugs.
I have remade the little tab (in plastic so it doesn't rust) that secures the rim to the car body, at the bottom of the rim.
Mine were bought from Chase MG (Google em, or eBay shop), they were the MGA rims. They are chrome on brass.
My car is an S3, your car may have different buckets, and/or different rim fixing arrangements.

Went to the minispares today, our bezel is not from a mini, the mini has the more bulbous ones. The guy in the shop suggest Morris Minor. So I have search for Morris Minor headlight surround and for the first time I have found some suppliers with surrounds visually identical to the S ones.
Trust TVR to use parts from a car already out of production for 20 years

Ten years plus I've been following this Forum and Morris Minor is a new one on me! ...


I don't know how old you are but many years ago nearly everything had 7" round headlights, Mini's and virtually everything else Austin Morris made, MG's, Triumphs, Land Rovers..... the list goes on


Funnily enough, these guys list Mini and Minor as the same? ......... Headlamp rims

203mm MGA rims fit on my S3.
Also listed on SVC site.

That makes sense, my first replacements were the "Cobra" rims, listed as same
