Hi

My S's wheels have certainly seen better days but a trip to a refinisher would restore them to their former glory.

I live near Southampton and was wondering whether anybody knows of a company that does this?

Cheers
Ian

Ian,
I recently used Micheldever Tyre Services for the refurbishment of the Oz 8 spoke "diamond cut" alloys on my V8S at a cost of just under £50 per whell. I am very pleased with the results.

Also, fellow PH'er "PVN" had his "S" wheels refurbished there with good results.

Hi. Just to confirm darkmatter's post really. I had my wheels done at Micheldever and am delighted with the results.

Good to know there is another S owner in the area. Hope to meet you some time. Give us a clue - what colour is your car?

Ian, I forgot to mention that my (and PVN's) wheels are unlacquered, so it is necessary to keep them polished to prevent corrosion. "Mycroft" and "spivvy" have had their wheels done with a powder-coat finish called either "black chrome" or "high powered silver" and very nice they look too. For more information, have a look at this thread.... www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?f=11&h=&t=176367
