Let’s face it we’ve seen much worse. Whoever did the write-up was very fond of "but... however...although....." and wanted to impress with "embossed TVR on the chrome door handles". So be warned. As to ownership history, the seller shows up as Bill Deeker from Oxfordshire (previously Wiltshire) and the photos show it to have been previously owned by Paul Heighway from Dittisham, Devon in 2013 (for whom there is a sad obituary in an issue of the South Hams Gazette in June 2016). The odometer records from old MoT's show it apparently went nowhere for years. https://themarket.co.uk/listings/tvr/v8s/b7496a7a-...

I came dangerously close to registering an account on that site. I value my life too much. :-(
New chassis ten years ago, paint a couple of years ago, needs a re-trim to make it nice and the brakes and suspension sorting, doesn't sound like much!
Of course you would take it all apart, sort the overheating and maybe replace the head gaskets and check that heat hasn't warped the heads but oh my, if I was retired I would be bidding.
I reckon a double garage with a late V8 and an early V6 would be a fine collection (plus a Series One landy with a v8 on the drive). Could I afford the divorce costs though?
