I'm just about to tackle the fuel pipe from tank to pump and along the chassis. Any information on this would be a great help, I know a lot of you guys have done this before. Cheers

Where the pipes run around the chassis and what size is the ID of the pipes . I understand the pump is gravity fed so all I need to know are simple things, as I dont want to put something in the wrong place and have to re-do it.

I suggest to just replace the hoses which you remove with ones with the same dimensions.
Fuel tank to pump is a steel braided hose, approx. 15mm ID. Make sure that it is resistant to petrol and while you're at it, put in an in-line fuel filter between the tank and the pump.

Be careful about that - injection fuel pumps are very sensitive to restriction on the supply side. You could add a second strainer if you want to back up the one in the tank, but I don't think a normal pressure side fuel filter is a good idea.

On my S1 the fuel line is tie wrapped to the inside edge of the upper tube on near side (LH side). It goes under any cross member. Is this what you wanted?
