Folks

As this is the place for sharing, here is my 283mm front Brake conversion.

Following inspiration from the Chimera forums i have replaced my ageing brakes.

Cosworth 2WD discs @ 283mm
ST150 Calipers and Mounting Brackets.
4 x 2mm washers to centre.

No spacers (except washers) no machining the disc smile

Thanks

Damian S3

But no need to go to the dark side for inspiration. Check out the WIKI above. The 'S' boys will trump the Chimps anytime laugh

Lols you are correct.. afaik no S is running unmodified 283mm discs smile

Not seen it mentioned anyways. The st150 carriers are a lot slimmer than the 887/888 ones calipers also have a disc clearance recess.

And the ST150 parts are much easier to get hold of.

That is exactly the list of parts I have gathered together, i was just about to get the discs turned down, but to hear they won't need to be made my day..
