Dammit you said v8.. i would guess with the dohc its too wide also not a 60 degree v.

Alan has a lexus engine in his but had to modify the chassis..

Almost all V8's are 90deg whereas almost all V6's are 60deg.

definitely can't fit a V8 into a V6 chassis.

It is possible to fir quad cam V6 into a V6 chassis - I fitted a BOA Cosworth into my S1 V6 and now doing the same swap as Damien and Terry.
