TVR V8S (1991) Handbrake Arrangement (Rear Disc Brakes)

HI Guys,
First hello! I am working on a mates 1991 TVR V8 S with rear disc brakes. Love it!
I need some help with the handbrake cable. It looks to be at the wrong angle, and looks like it should not be at A, but at B. It looks like B would be better and prevent the awkward angle....? the cable is mounted correct in the body places for it.
In the second picture, is C correct, or should it come around near point D, point D would keep the cable sheath straighter.
I have a new racetech cable, and fitting tomorrow then its ready for MOT =)
