Post Rebuild Epic Shakedown....

So, after over 7 years of a body-off rebuild the S underwent it's 'test run'...1800 or so miles of more & even BIGGER

Result was...a loose AFM connector (5 minute fix), some 'tweaking' of the suspension settings and a bonnet catch coming loose (2 minute fix)...a HUGE thanks and to Longers for organising such an epic tour....for those who have never taken the plunge and been on a S Club tour...DO SO...you will not regret it

For those of you out there who don't think they can undertake a full body off restoration...all I can say is...give it a go..

I had no mechanical background, it took a long time, but I did it - in a single garage and on the drive

I do have to say sooooooo many thankyous to those PH people who gave sound & patient advice (there were many questions) and practical help (you need a few for getting the body off/on) along the way - you are all EPIC

Nice one Jaye, sounds like a successful and very brave shake down to me. Feels great when you can finally just jump in and drive after all the work doesn't it.
