There are a few threds with bits and bobs of info and question so ive started a new one to detail the build as it goes on.

today started with good intentions of cleaning and painting the chassis and getting the block bolted up in place to start looking at whats needed for the manifolds.

all was going well until just as im lifting the engine in and problem. theres no spigot bearing in the new engine. so all stop untill the new one arrives.

Maybe rotate them 90 clockwise on your device before uploading? Presumably your "device" is a (not very) smart 'phone? laugh

the original TT one is not very good fit wise so im looking for a front mount one to try and squeeze infront of the rad.

and i need to find a spot for the coolant tank?

I once used an escort cosworth chargecooler / intercooler combination small but needs plumbing.

My header tank is here.. but thats actually a great place to put the fuse box so maybe ditch or replace the rear brake bias valve and put it on the other side.? I think much smaller brake bias valves are available.

It has good height in that location..

Thanks

ive also found a nice intercooler to fit infront off the rad.

so next time its not a million degrees and ive got five mins the todo list is

finish welding up the manifolds
fit exhaust and make new down pipes
have the oil supply and return pipes made
sort induction hoses
then it might be time for a test start.

yes. yes it is.

it was the best way i could think of mocking it up so i can get them made.

not sure it would last too long in real use.
