Can't see anywhere that sells these specifically for an S? Has anyone purchased these recently or made ones for another car fit? Or found suitable strips and glued the rubber on? Mine aren't going back as there are!

The garage isn't that extensive at the mo to make anything i would want on the car. Stainless would be nice though.

Just take them down to your local fabrication shop, they will sort you out.

Do you "do" FaceBook?

Guy on TVR S series Owners and Enthusiasts , Andy Leighton, has a pair for sale.

...... of course they may be no better condition than yours smile

It's a no brainer really.

Some well placed 90° bends and 4 drilled holes in a strip of stainless.

Give it a go, I did and was well pleased with the results.

I did exactly that- fabricated replacement SS straps for a Reliant Scimitar a few years back.
its very simple; measure total length of existing straps. Get some cut same length (& width& gauge) from Stainless strip. either swap rubber from originals or obtain replacement if you can and bond onto new set
copy locations of holes and bends from originals onto your new pair. drill holes, then bend in same locations and orientation using a vice or similar.
