what size clutch pipe union.

I'm in need of a new pipe union for my clutch master cylinder. I've been everywhere local nothing fits.

I'm sure I can order it on line but I'm not sure what size I need.

My S1 clutch master cyl has a 3/8” UNF union and 7/16” UNF union at the slave cyl.
(Both the cylinders are land rover ones on my car)

that sounds about right. the slave one is in good nick and can be reused I'll have a hunt for a 3/8unf and see if that fits. the original pipe also looks to be slightly bigger than the standard modern stuff.

I'm sure your right about the cylinders the salve is definitely fitted to a few landies. the master is fitted to lots of stuff like triumph etc. originally girling but now made by trw I believe

so after trying every local factor and garage with mo luck I finally remember a local place that can make any pipe. bonding and reline in thurmaston.

7/16 at the master and m11 at the slave🙄

now to find 10 mins to put it all on and see if it drives

Hope it goes ok. Also hope it’s not like one of my “10 minute” jobs that end up taking up most of the day!
