I know the above is mentioned in the useful links section, but has anyone actually replaced theirs, and if so, where did you get the seal from?

Whilst filling up today, noticed that the seal on mine is starting to look pretty knackered, and with the ever escalating price of fuel, I can't afford to lose some every time I take a sharp right hander!

Can you cut out a new seal from a thin sheet of rubber ? Viton or Nitrile or even PU will be OK.

TVRees, I think I could possibly try that as a last resort, but clearly a replacement seal is what I really need.
Plus I don't want to risk damaging the existing seal taking it off to measure up a replacement.

So, I'm guessing by the absence of replies that nobody has replaced theirs!

I have: I made a replacement from nitrile sheet.
