non starter!

just back from my hols and the s3 isnt starting,dead annoying as i rushed home from the airport full of excitement on driving it for the first time in two weeks.it wont fire up although the engine turns over fine(battery ok). i can get it to start if i press the throttle pedal but then it idles really rough. so far ive cleaned the idle valve and thethrottle body,reset the ecu and checked that there is a good spark from the coil.next thing is the throttle pot,could it be that?

if it runs rich,won't idle,coughs and splutters,sounds like mine did.Changed the throttle pot and £35 later ticks over better than ever and runs sweet.Worth the gamble,if it isnt,atleast you have a spare one.
