Insurance - Do`s and dont`s.....for a newbie !

Hi, Firstly, hello. I am a newbie and about to buy (hopefully) an S2 ! I had one once before from new and in those days (15 years ago) I simply insured it for 12 months. I am now looking at Classic car insurance for the first time. I have had some advice but would ask you seasoned owners out there for any do`s and dont`s ! Any advice greatfully received.

Another recommendation for Classicline - I am pretty sure they require the car to be garaged, though.
