How do you keep the height adjustable threads lubricated?

Wipe with an oily rag before installing and use damper socks to keep the dirt out.

That's interesting Peter, I have used them on various off-road RC models and have them on my current 1/6th but never seen full size ones even when I was into autograss. Any info on where to buy or suggested material to make them?

I use innotec ceramic grease. Not cheap but the best anti seize grease I've ever used.

Mine are Kirkey brand, got them from one of the usual motorsporty aftermarket places (don't remember which one). They're just a simple cylinder of vinyl with a velcro closure and the top closed off.

If you want to then adjust the height, or for that matter, the firmness, can this done with the socks in place or is it very quick / easy to remove / refit them?
