Thanks Mike.

We are thinking ferry outward bound and tunnel home but will let you know when we have finalised our plans.

Stew and Karen.

Is that the outfit actually does have any ships, or is that an artists impression of what they hope to have by then? wink

I'm waiting a bit longer to see how things pan out before booking, but will bear you ferry times in mind...

We have booked The ferry via DFDS - Dover - Calais
July 4th
Time: 13:45

We are returning via the tunnel though for speed (we hope).
July 09th
Time: 13.50

Mike, we would like to tag along on the way down if that is OK?

Cheers, Stew and Karen.

Hi
I’ve just booked onto the DFDS too. Perhaps pick you up as you pass London or further down at Ashford/Tesco’s?

Hi Kev, I suspect we'll be picking Joe up at Beaconsfield Services and if on schedule stop at Clacket lane for a "comfort break" coffee

Get back to you when we've come up with some times.

OK team, me and Trudy have just booked the ferry too: DFDS 13:45 outbound on the 4th, returning on the 9th on the 13:50 crossing

Interesting that is is more expensive on Tesco vouchers than a plain cash booking...but still saves on spending the petrol / beer money...

wink

I’ve just booked me and Josh on the same DFDS ferries. I apologise in advance for the volume levels when trapped in a large steel box with my exhaust.

Hi TVR Seamen

So I am thinking Ferry as well but before I book have you folk opted for the queue jumping 'Priority Boarding' upgrade?

Ferry is about £100 cheaper then the tunnel... That's a lot of Autosol.

Cheers

Not a problem getting on, it ain't gonna go without us but I guess some reckon it's worth it to be first off ahead of all the caravans scratchchin

The ferries are old and rusty and staffed by the French. So don't expect much laugh

Just booked the Ferry. I normally go with the Tunnel but the ferry was indeed quite a bit less this time and didn't know they were doing the Tesco vouchers deal same as the tunnel!

Out on 4th at 18:20pm crossing and back on 9th 13:50 crossing.

Now off to wash the Scottish muck off the car having been for a play this week smile

Booked on the tunnel at 16:20 outbound and 14:20 return...the eldest daughter who is my passenger vetoed the ferry as it makes her feel like vomit

Cheers
