Stranded......help!

Car just died, no electrics....instruments all dead, lights and hazards work.engine turns over,cannot hear fuel pump prime. Still have dreaded yellow connector but can see it and looks to be ok. Ps no tools, may be something in boot but solenoid not operating and need them for the secret acess.

Forgot to mention this has happened before and as I was about to give up everything turned on and ran no probs so imagine not just a fuse, can't get to fuses to check without tools.

Does sound like classic "Yellow connector" symptoms Chris?

Sorry to hear of your predicament.
Could possibly be something breaking down due to heat as it fixed itself last time it happened after a chance to cool off? Might be best to check out the yellow thing when you can, if only to rule it out.
Sorry it’s not any help to you right now. Only other suggestion is to wiggle as many connections you can get to to see if any power is restored.

Lesson learned........never put off what you KNOW needs doing. It was the dreaded yellow connector. Managed to get it to stay connected to get me home, Cheers for replys .......but managed to wiggle and see a flash of life before those that knew had diagnosed it for me thanks
