Winter maintenance . Drop tank clean and paint, fit baricade fuel hose and add an inline filter.

Is that between the tank and the pump? Unless it's a low restriction filter, that could be a mistake. Injection pumps are great at producing positive pressure but have almost no ability to suck. Any significant restriction upstream of the pump can lead to cavitation and fuel starvation.
