Just been setting up the power steering today, I had a rack made by Kiley Clinton, quite high ratio so its first time setup. I just need to see if I need to put any lock stops in, so far there is no contact with the body or chassis but just wanting to know how much angle the normal steering is. Mobile tracking team in next week to set it all up.

Perfect Mike, I think I have a lot more than that so will make some stops for the rack

You could take the dampers off and move the suspension through full the full range of bump and rebound and just see whether it fouls anything. There is huge variation in the body position so a stop needed on somebody else's car might not be needed on yours.

One other question, how close to the body is the tyre on full lock, my tyres are parallel to the rear top part of the wishbone. On your picture yours are short of being parallel to the wishbone.

I couldn't hold the steering wheel and take the photo, it had sprung back a touch. Wheel does trn a little more if you hold the steering wheel on full lock but not so far to be parallel.
These are no London Cabs when it comes to turning circle smile

There is clearance between the tyre and the rear wheel arch liner thingy, but not much, I can't get my chubby fingers between the tyre and the fibreglass.

Just an update, everything is back on the car, after spending some time in the camper and a lot of other distractions on the way, I have finally finished re fitted all the front suspension, Power steering now working like a dream, next job to get the speed sensor fitted. Not much I can do now but to get the trailer sorted out for it's trip to Birmingham for a paint job. Been a long road with many distractions but the fun of doing it makes it all worth while.

The upholstery (seats and door cards) will still need to be done as well as the carpets ( ready just to cut and stitch) but I might just ask who ever does the seats and door cards to do it. ( down to two companies). The paint is the main thing I need to do and making a trailer is the next job, I still have the caravan chassis now striped of all the body, going to pull it into the workshop today and start marking and cutting to size. .
