Diagnostic plug
Discussion
The trailing female connector socket for the 2.9 Ford EFi 'Star Tester' is somewhere above the passenger footwell/ behind the glovebox/ carpet trim. It is amongst the mare's nest of wiring which also comprises the fuseboard and relays and the ECU, all carefully stuffed up there at random in true TVR style.
I believe two S Clubbers have Star testers available for loan, providing postal costs each way are covered by the borrower.
Contact Phillpot or RayTVR via their PH profile page.
I'm not sure if generic fault code readers are compatible, but the Star Tester can check a lot more dynamic functions as well as just displaying fault codes.

I have Star Tester Instructions and a list of 2 digit error codes, happy to send you (and anyone else who wants them) by email, just send me your email address via a PM.
