Paint Code

Hi all, need to find out which red my 1990 S2 is, having googled many threads I know where the colour code should be on the car but it is blank. Has anyone discovered a colour code anywhere else on an S car? Or can anyone recommend someone localish to Kent where I can take it to find out the actual colour used.

Look on the o/side top rail where the Details are stamped, I think the paint code is in there as well as the vin code. (I think)

TVR did pretty much any colour that the customer wanted rather than having their own, so finding the paint code can help, but another thing I did was Google pictures of other popular makes of cars at the time mine was made to see if I recognised the colour...Mine was Jaguar Brooklands Green...

Alternatively some paint shops can scan your car paint if you take it to them and make up aerosols in that colour if thats what you need.

Anyone got a similar colour to mine?
Body code lplate has B296.
The Paint Codes in useful links has B296B Nautical Blue.
Just want to confirm if that is the actual colour?
