Removable cross member..

Could some kind soul put up a pic of how they did the removable cross member trick (just so I have an idea before I cut !! )

Sump needs replacement asap !

Some people seem to cut the cross member at the chassis rail, others cut it a few inches away from the chassis rail. It seems to me the second approach would probably be easier, but I haven't done either way myself.

this thread also shows the V8 chassis differences and the additional X bracing which may be able to be fitted? and gives greater strength and torsional rigidity.
