Heater controls

do any of the models have illuminated controls?

I know my S1 does not

My S2 had the fiber optic illuminations for the heater controls, switches etc. Does the S1 have the same fiber optic system?

Have you considered getting rid of the heater controls and using motors to operate the flaps?

If you'd seen the lash up TVR made of doing that on the Griffith you'd stick with some nice simple "you know where you are" levers
