Hopefully a quick one for the experts. Does anyone have any photos of where the speed sensor is on a '91 S3 so I can change it? (and where it earths down to - it is not the nr side engine earth or the offside earth to the diagonal in the engine bay wheel arches as these are bright now).

Finally, can you get to it without taking out the engine out or body off?

Thanks

Easy to get at the sender from under the car.
The wires go up through the tunnel top so the earth is likely to be under the dash/front of console.

Thanks Guys. Will attack at the weekend to see if it cure the issue of over recording mileage as it has got to 4 times the distance actually driven so getting close to my annual limit.

It is over reading as the draw on current increases with load. If I can track the earth and clean connections then might improve. It has only degraded in past 12 mths I think as was spot on after body off chassis attack. Worst case I'll look to add a supplemental earth.

Looking down from the gear gator, I have connections. From previous reply I guess the one I am after is the connector block one not the 2-pin black plug (reverse sensor?)
