Finally got around to sorting the rear light connectors.. bye bye ford.
Hello 2.5mm crimp connectors.

Next thing is to solder across the touch fit connections at the bulb holders and base plate links

You're probably right.. the crappy holders are in pretty good comdition for now (and working) but i did consider that too. smile

Ive out dc4 on all the bulbs etc so shouldnt see any future corrosion to the connectors etc.

Good luck with that, I reckon the bulb contacts are possibly stainless? They are certainly no where near as magnetic as the plated links!
Never had an issue myself, can you show us some you've done?
