Seat belt stalk

The seat belt stalk in my V8S is too long. The catch digs into me just below my ribs. Has anyone replaced their seat belt stalk with one from another car - if so, from which car?

I noticed that Clive_f mentioned that he also has this problem (in the "seat belt modification" thread).

you know i was thinking about this just yesterday, mine is about an inch or so too long.

When i had a kit car, i used Deemon Tweeks or Europa parts, i recall they sold them at any length you like, just make sure it fits the catch type.

I think i'll just live with mine for now

I now have a nice short female end to my belts and no longer get poked in the ribs!!

I also have this problem and mentioned it to clive, but when I am having a blast it seems to be the last thing on my mind. I will have to look into it though as it is annoying, I will post an answer on here if Im successful.
