I Can cope with yellow grass but green is definitely best colour for an S
At least there's no sign of yellow snow about yet! The belt of rain has descended to Cheshire this afternoon after a very dark grey broody sky gradually approached from the norf...
Hopefully it's just a brief respite from the drought and Tim and the rest of us can enjoy plenty more sunny days of topless S'ing this summer!
Hosepipe ban is due to come into effect in early August...
Welcome back Tim!
Yes, I'm near Hexham.
Rain ~ not much but was a bit of a shock to the system. Made for a typical British barbecue in Haltwhistle. The boys outside huddling under the sun shades getting slowly soaked and the girls sat inside.
Shame to be raining on my first run out for a couple of years.
Also shame that I didn't log into the forum earlier. I didn't see that the S meet was at Bywell until the day after, Monday morning.
I would have loved to pop along ~ it's only just down the road from here. Last time I was at S club heaven was at Gaydon ~ 2009? I've still got the mug somewhere..
It's great to see that the forum is as active as ever. A great resource for S owners.
Best wishes all.
Tim

Hi and welcome back
yes a shame about SCH as we had a run-out on the Friday which included almost circling Haltwhistle - From Otterburn/Bellingham and west along the Military Road past Once/Twice Brewed and then east along the A69 then down through Allendale via Langley Castle
A bit surprised you never hears 30 odd TVRs
