HELP!!! that old hot start problem yet again

Yes I`ve got the dreaded hot start problem on my S1,just before I rebuilt my engine the car developed a problem I found the pump was knackered and the relay had more water in it than the washers anyway I replaced the above items then this hot start problem reared its ugly head, I was`nt to worried because I was rebuilding the engine anyway,engines all back in spent a fortune recon g/box etc thought the hot start problem would be a thing of the past but no its still there I`ve tried every thing I can think of and what the bible recommends,the only thing thats is a bit strange is the pump dos`nt chatter into life at the switch of the ignition but is fine when the engines knocking over, the car starts fine from cold.
This problems turning out to be phsycological warfare and just to add to it the bl**dy suns shinning.Cheers Bob
