S3 Heater Fan Switches

Read all the posts about this subject, emailed the suggested suppliers and have been told the switches are discontinued.
So any bright ideas on where else Part No. Lucas uk 182SA
33939A 1991 can be found or alternatively can anyone tell me the correct connections to be made with an alternative switch as the switch is totally destroyed inside. Is it a simple either/or connection to positive/negative or something cleverer?
Any help appreciated for a non electrician.

If this is the one that came off a TR7 then I've got one lying around the house somewhere - I'll have a look tonight and see if I can dig it out.

Its a TR7 Switch I beleive, have you tried Rimmer Bros ?

Unfortunately Rimmer Bros don't recognise it as TR, Moss Motors say its discontinued. Various parts departments have offered that it could be Vauxhall, Ford, Saab, but non of them can find it in any catalogue. Rebuilding might be an option if I knew what parts connect to where, but it is mangled and therefore difficult to tell.
Its the S3 rectangular version, not the earlier round version.

I got a replacement about 18 months ago from David Gerald (01386 793237).
Might be worth trying tvrcarparts.com (01884 266755)
Think it cost around £18. I reassembled with silicone grease squeezed into the switch body - hopefully it will extend its life!

Thanks for the contact information. There was one on the shelf at David Gerald which I bought but it was damned expensive at £34 plus VAT. Must have been gold plated, but sitting here in Germany its neither easy nor cheap to get bits. Thanks again.
