Steering column bearing cover details required.

Hi chaps , I renewed the steering column bulkhead bearing a year or two ago and was never happy with the plastic housing , my machinist friend has offered to make me an ally one if I can either supply him the old one or a dimensional drawing .
I could take mine off but I've only just got the old girl out and would like to keep using her for a while , which brings me to my question.
Does anyone have a drawing with dimensions I could copy and give him ?
It would really help so hopefully someone may have it .

I could send you the plastic one I've just taken off so long as you promise to send it back to me and your machinist mate can get the old bearing out without damaging the housing

Hi there , that's a very kind offer , I appreciate it , I won't take you up on it though as I don't mind him damaging my old housing, I don't want him bu&&ering yours up !
If I don't have any luck here I'll just bite the bullet and strip mine down for a few days next week. If I'm dropping the column I might as well do the yellow plug at the same time even though it's not burnt or scorched.
