He's not joking when he says 'more years than he can remember.' It hasn't had an MoT since electronic recording started 11 yrs ago!
Take heed of this from the gov website. I knew a car had to be taxed or SORN without a break to remove a number plate but was not aware there was a time limit:
"Your vehicle will need to be taxed if it’s had a SORN for longer than 5 years. It might also need to be inspected."
So. MoT required........

I've had an engine in an Insignia estate so shouldn't be a problem in a Mondeo

I've got a spare propshaft, just needs a new u/j. But perhaps he means one of the driveshafts is missing?
I hope somebody completes the restoration and brings another lovely S back onto the road.
( Said he with an S1 still up on axle stands. )
