The old girl passed her 12th successive MOT this morning under my ownership with no advisories. Good strict test but new tighter rules next month including reversing lights, dashboard warning lights and a load of other bits.
Went for a celebratory drive afterwards in the rain.

Interesting about the new rules. Anything else apart from reverse lights and dash lights?

I only just repaired my reverse light switch on the gearbox so hope it holds up..

To be honest, they already checked for reversing lights, although only the one on the n/s had to work. Some cars only have 1 reverse lamp and 1 fog lamp fitted.

The major change is that all fitted lamps have to work. So if you have 2 reversing lamps and 2 forward facing fog lamps, they have to all work.
