Discussion
I do not intend to start a discussion on the ideal bra size, but remind you all to check your coolant level before embarking on a drive which will involve heavy traffic stop-start motoring as I did a few days ago.
I was comfortably seated in my S3c in a traffic jam when suddenly I noticed a sudden rise of interest in my plastic wonder from my fellow commuters. Pride rapidly turned into panic as a thick curtain of white smoke came out of the left-hand wheel arch, while the temperature gauge needle left its usual 90C spot to reach the red section.
I stopped immediately and waited for the coolant to, well, cool down.
The sight of me standing miserably next to my fuming car was probably not the best way to convince the Geneva commuters that TVR is an alternative to modern German ragtops.
Once I had filled the radiator tank with water (check Steve Heath''book for procedure), the gauge needle returned to its 90c position and it has remained so ever since.
So please give the coolant a quick check next time you take the S out.
