THIS thread on the Wedge Forum. I don't know if they also stock 'S' dampers but might be helpful to anyone wanting to stick with their OE Koni dampers. A wise move IMHO biggrin

I'll be contacting them to see if they have the OE rubber bushes. I'll also be asking about that "life-time guarantee" wink

The warranty will be through Koni. I would call Koni UK and ask. Koni North America said that as long as they were manufactured after 1981 and had not been previously rebuilt, the shocks would qualify for the lifetime warranty.

If you could get an old set of Koni's for the S you could send them to Koni to be rebuilt. I've heard it's an excellent service and relatively cost effect. That would be the US rebuild service but I'm sure the U.K. division adheres to the same standards.

AFIK there are only three Koni refurbishers in the UK. The one I used did a good job but he couldn't get any OE rubber bushes. Mine were fine and didn't need replacing but if anyone did need bushes maybe an email to 'ClassicGarage.com' might produce some.
