It's a TVR special made up from bits of several cars. You can get replacements from any TVR dealer. In my experience the upper UJ qoes quite quickly (few tens of thousand miles) if unprotected, and it's well worth putting a rubber gaitor round the new one to protect it from the exhaust heat. Steering rack end gaitors work well, but any flexible and heat reistant material would do.

In the mean time, if you clean the outside of the UJ and dribble some thin oil in, that should improve things temporarily.

Cheers,
Peter Humphries (and a green V8S)

If I have to go to TVR harrrrrr is it going to cost me my christmas prezz as it has to go back for its MOT pluss getting the chap to fix it.

Thanks Lee.

Mail order and fit it yourself, if you don't mind getting your hands dirty? They're straightforward to fit if you can hold a spanner.
