Yessss! Thanks Mike, dunno where I got Grey from, too many tins of stuff lying about when you refurb a car!

Great , can't say enough good things about this glue, (Thixofix), so good, used it on soundproofing, peeling covering on trim, etc.

Thanks again, I am sure I could have just done a search on your previous posts! btw the PH search engine was a waste of time on this, couldn't even work out how to narrow it to the S forum.

Cheers.

What do you consider to be the best adhesive to glue trim onto the body. Along the top of the grp part of the doors there is a rubber section that acts as a seal against the glass and also allows the glass to move. That glues on but there isnt much surface to glue to and I dont fancy the chances of Evo-stik. The original glue was very hard, almost like and epoxy.

While I am at it, best choice for sticking new targa seals down?

I haven't done mine yet, but had thought of using a windscreen sealant. Any comments?

Just a high temperature interior contact adhesive will do vinyl, leather trim.
Used it for a replacement headliner in my jag coupe and carpet and vinyl trim
