PLEASE READ!! Date for 'S' Club Heaven III is set
Discussion
After quite a few conversations with Silverstone TVR we have arranged a date for the National S meet. It will be on the 14th of August which is a Sunday and the LMES weekend, the same as last years. So that means there is racing on for those that want it, but you will need to arrange your own tickets. Silverstone TVR will confirm what they will have on offer on the day in a bout 2 months time. Basically they will tell me what they propose, I will post here and check interest.
I will now arrange for catering for the day, hopefully a carvery van, but if not a burger van may have to suffice. I will also contact people who have expressed an interest in attending like ACT, The polishing company and the new owners of the elusive TVR parts container www.tvrparts.com......!
Any comments, questions, suggestions....just let me know I will keep this thread updated and ask TED to add this date to the calendar. Can you all register on the calendar so we can get an idea of numbers for the day, lets hope to crack 100 cars this time....although that may prove difficult.

Hi Mike ...
Well done...
As a suggestion mail your local RO, ask them to contact all other RO's through their yahoo account.. ASAP so that owners who do not frequent PH or the Club forums know about it ... There are a number of S's in the Berkshire region who didn't attend last year..
The more notice the better.
Dave

Mike, many thanks for getting this organised! I missed it last year as it falls on my weekend of duty and hence the same as this year! However, I am considering taking a week off work which will include THAT weekend! I really don't want to miss it. Especially with all the recent cosmetic work done to the car. So at the moment count me in! I will be MOST dissappointed if I have to miss it and besides you will want to see those back tyres you sold me!!! Still got loads of tread!!!!
Thanks again Mike!
Thanks again Mike!

Excellent idea Dave, yes the more notice we give people the better and thats a sure fire way of getting the numbers up. One thing I would say is that the RO's should either collectively get details of people that intend to go and pass them to me or Derek. OR direct them to the PH calendar and make sure they register as we need to have an idea of numbers before the event so we are prepared!
Thanks Derek, with you taking care of that side of things it gives me more time to organise other bits for the day.
Anyone else that wants to get involved just let us know as the more people we have organising the day the better it will be.
Heres to a great day
Mike

By Carvery Van... Did you mean Hog roast..?
I've been to a few do's where they have had a roast..Usually gone down very well.. Not good for Veggies thou'
Yes Dave thats what I am hoping to organise as I too feel this will go down better than a burger van? You cant beat a hot beef or pork roll!! If there are any veggies they need to let me know so I can try to make sure there are a few options for the veggies!
