I''m now getting a clicking from my transmission when turning corners. I suspect it''s the diff. Would this make sense? Too many doughnuts in the car park?

Are you sure you removed the peg and playing card from the rear wheel after realising you couldn't make it sound like a V8? LeeBee

If it only happens when you are turning one way and accelerating, I'd suspect a CV joint. These used to go regularly on my S2. If it happens round left *and* right corners, and even when you aren't particularly accelerating, it may be a chipped planet gear or something. If it happens in a staight line, it might even be a broken tooth in the crown wheel or pinion. But hopefully just a CV joint, they are cheap and easy to replace. Cheers, Peter Humphries (and a green V8S)

Yup, sounds like a CV joint to me too.
