A simple and cheap solution is to fit Xenon Gas bulbs instead of the existing halogen bulbs. They cost approx £15.00 a pair from any Motor spares/Halfords and will improve the lights a lot.
Of course they will still not be as good as the modern multi reflector /bulb units but are a big improvement.

Would xenon bulbs have any impact on the wiring. I switched a car (not even going to mention what it was) from normal to halogen bulbs a while back and it started melting the light switch on a regular basis.

I guess it all depends on how much more current xenon bulbs might draw?

Can anyone suggest headlight improvements for a TVR V8S? There must be something out there to better the O.E. candles?

I fitted 100W bulbs a couple of years ago. Quite a bit better now, but still nowhere near as good as a modern production car with decent reflectors.

GREEN V8S ....thanks-my local motor factors suggested the same! But if anyone else knows of something better I'm open to suggestions.

Connect the earth wires directly to the battery and clean all connectors and apply electrical grease. The bulbs you want are Phillips Cool Blue, these also come in a set with very bright side light bulbs. This is what I did and they are as good as any (non HID equipped) modern car I have had

Cheers
