S Owners - Do It Now

I won't post detail here as it's on another thread, here but I recently spent half a day with a class one police driver (similar to Ride Drive course) and I was very impressed.

It occurred to me that with a number of new S owners around you may be interested in this - you come away even more impressed with your car.

GreenV8S and shpub have always said that driver training is one of the best performance mods - now I know what they mean.

I recently went on a RideDrive course and feel the same. A good mix of constructive criticism and skills training. Highly recommended.

Ditto, I did a half day Ride Drive course in early spring. I had a great time and would recommend it to anyone for improving driving technique.

I can strongly recommend the RideDrive. I can certainly get more out of my S. The course has given me a lot more bottle when cornering as well a being able to dry faster safer.

Hi JSG, how much did the course set you back and what part of of the UK ?......sounds interesting.

£120 and it lasted four hours(coffee break with progress natter in the middle).
After all the concentration I was totally knackered.

The instructors are based nationwide, I met mine a few miles from where I live and the drive was all on local roads so I regularly go out and practice the tricky bends.
I realise now I was nowhere near using the car to its full potential.

I did mine through the charity auction arranged by Ted, usefull for me as I could never get around to arranging it myself. Excellent fun.
