Mistery earth cable

I`ve just put my engine/gearbox back in my S1,unfortunately I`ve got a black earth cable left over!!its about 1/4ins thick 18ins long with 3 eye connectors, anyone got any ideas?

You remember when you went to lift the engine out and it wouldn't come? That would have been your mystery earth strap holding it in.

I think that there is one on the gearbox -to chassis. and one on the engine casing to chassis, plus the battery.
