I have just had to replace the brake pipes on my S3c but haven't managed to get any decent brake performance (spongy...in fact it won't even lock up). The air has been bled off in the system, although the driver's front calliper proved very stubborn (hence my other posting below). Does anyone have any other ideas to rectifying the problem? The discs/pads are all ok by the way. Thanks.

Air in the master cylinder? Try flushing them backwards?

Air in the brake bias valve aswell.

I found using an Ezi Bleed kit buggered my brakes and the master cylinder really did not like being emptied and refilled using this method. I now only use a small bottle with a non-return valve to bleed my brakes...
