Fog light switch

I need to replace the front foglight switch on my S3 as the existing one's given up the ghost - I'm pretty sure it's the switch as I've seen it come to life once or twice with a bit of jiggling. I gather from the parts page that these switches come from a TR7, so I guess they're probably a bit tricky to come by (although I think I've found a possible source on the 'net). My two questions, therefore, are:

1) Has anyone found a good substitute that'll fit the existing hole?
2) How do I actually get to the switch to take it out?

You need to remove the centre console to get at the switches (2 screws at the rear of transmission tunnel), see bible for details.

I got a fan switch from a TVR dealer a few years back, can't remember the cost but I'm sure it was expensive. You should be able to get a replacement from Rimmer Bros who stock all Triumph parts.
